Getting featured in Wired Magazine, interviews about new projects, and being the center of the Tech Spotlight are some of the elements that have come to be associated with the “Tech Genius” of the 21st century. Some of these individuals have built companies and consultancies that are at the center of the information systems and intelligent technologies that drive our world. The "Tech Genius" often imagines new solutions to persistent challenges and finds ways to integrate emerging science and technology trends into game changing capabilities.

Some exceptional individuals who I consider to be in the category of “Tech Genius” include Larry Ellision, founder of Oracle; Steve Jobs co founder of Apple; Sergey Brin cofounder of Google; Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft; Alex Karp co founder of Palantir; and Elon Musk, co founder of SpaceX, Tesla and Paypal. It's important to mention here that the "Tech Genius" is not exclusive to silicon valley, in fact I believe that a number of individuals of this personality type will emerge in countries around the world in the coming decades.

The sophistication of the technologies and services that emerge from these individuals and the networks they create, are incredibly valuable in a world built from advanced information processing. Due to the variety of applications and widespread use of their technologies and services, the 21st century "Tech Genius" often controls a vast fortune, millions or even billions of dollars. What is it about the “Mind of the Tech Genius” that makes their contribution so valuable in our society? The emerging field of Digital Physics is based off of the axiom that space-time displays the characteristics of an advanced computing system designed to decode information. From the levels of atoms and molecules to individuals, and societies, these emergent patterns based on computation are always present. The ability of the "Tech Genius" to identify and analyze large scale trends in society, technology and psychology while designing services and solutions accordingly, may explain why they are so influential in our World.

The algorithms, formulas, equations and codes that are used to build our technologies, are derived from physics, the language of the cosmos. In order to build the technologies of the future, the "Tech genius" must be able to decode the laws of Nature and imagine new possibilities within the Physics, while also having the business intelligence to actualize their plans. The "Tech genius" in many ways is a visionary who can envision and then actualize the concepts for a next generation technology, service, device or platform. They have an aptitude for decoding complexity, perceiving patterns, and fusing concepts together while displaying their vision to the world In such a way that it inspires others to invest in them. The ability to clearly and effectively convey how their technology will positively affect end-users is a key element in the widespread adoption of any Paradigm shift. In many ways success as a "Tech Genius" is not just about creating new technologies, but showing the members of society how these technologies can have a positive impact in their lives.

Having a strategic and future oriented mindset is essential to the success of a “Tech Genius”. There are two factors that I have Identified as being consistent with every successful endeavor. The first is the idea that the future can be better than the present, and that they have the ability to make it so! The “Tech Genius” is confident in their ability to use their Intelligence and creativity to facilitate the emergence of new platforms in order to create benefits for end users. I believe that the "Tech genius" of the future will take a polymathic approach to designing new technologies, through the cross disciplinary fusion of multiple cutting edge fields of research. There will be a great convergence of topics, such as AI computing architectures, robotics, smart cities, satellite systems, cloud computing, block chain, all of which are leading society towards the age of cyberhumanism. The "Tech genius" will be uniquely positioned to succeed in the future, due to their ability to think in innovative ways and deconstruct the complexities of the advancing age of human and technological integration.

As a society we need to seek out new approaches to solving the great challenges and obstacles of our age. The future will be an age of both complexity and convergence as our world becomes more interconnected. The World needs people with a future mindset that can adapt, innovate, and discover new paths forward. I believe that the future will be a constellation of codes, algorithms and protocols adapting to a shifting global ecosystem. Perhaps the role of the "tech genius" may be to design a new constellation and build the world of tomorrow.
